Mother nature is a…..well, ya know. If inclement weather is too aggressive, we will reschedule your appointment for a later time/day. In the event an appointment cannot be rescheduled for that week/weekend, service will resume the following week. Credits or refunds will only be provided if the homeowner agrees to handle the scooping during the week that was missed.
We will ensure that we inform any clients who may be affected in a timely manner. In accordance with our cancellation and weather policies, credits or refunds will not be provided unless the homeowner agrees to handle the scooping tasks during the week that was missed, as we will be focused on catching up on all the outstanding work.
The client commits to maintaining their lawn as effectively as possible. Overgrown grass, an abundance of leaves, or other debris in the yard can hinder our ability to locate waste properly. While the technician will do their utmost to clean the yard even when the ground is obscured or the grass is unruly, there is a significant chance that some waste may go unnoticed. Doodie Free Yards will not assume responsibility if any portion of the yard is inaccessible for any reason.
If an appointment must be canceled or if a week needs to be skipped (for reasons not related to weather), the client agrees to provide us with as much advance notice as possible. In such cases, we will do our best to reschedule within 24 hours, but this cannot be assured. If a cancellation leads to a week of service being missed, credits or refunds will only be granted if the client agrees to maintain the yard between the missed appointment and the next regularly scheduled one.
Doodie Free Yards will schedule certain locations on pre-determined days to help us with our efficiency. Clients will receive a notification via email and/or text message the day before their scheduled appointment. Specific times cannot always be given, however clients will receive an “on the way” text notification through their client portal when we are en route. We will do the best we can to accommodate specific requests regarding days/times of service, but we are a very small husband and wife team that needs to make the most of our time when planning routes.
If we arrive and do not have access to the yard due to a locked gate or some other obstacle, service will be skipped that week and charges still apply as we will have to clean double the waste the following week. We will send a text/email when en route to try to minimize this situation, so please have access open for us. We are a small 2 person business and can not be waiting to gain access to a property, please understand. Additionally, we will not go through a garage or home to get to the yard for our own safety.
Waste
Disposal
Waste will be disposed of in the client's trash can. We have a small service charge if you would like us to dispose of waste ourselves. if the client's trash can is not accessible on the appointment day, we will dispose of it and include a one time small service charge as noted on our “services” page. Dog waste is not only unsightly, but it also carries harmful bacteria, parasites, and pollutants that can affect your yard, local water supply, and even the health of humans and other animals.
Service
Agreement
This arrangement, established between Doodie Free Yards and the client mentioned above, will commence on the first day of service and will remain in effect until either party elects to discontinue the services.
This agreement is not a binding contract; the client has the freedom to modify, cancel, or pause services at any point. Any unused service time will be reimbursed to the client within 72 hours following the notice of service termination.
Payments and Fees
Client agrees to pre-payment for all weekly/monthly service packages. Invoices for monthly packages are sent by the first of every month and must be paid in full by the 5th of that month, whereas weekly will be sent. Doodie Free Yards reserves the right to suspend or discontinue services until payment is made in full. If there is a service interruption lasting two weeks or longer and waste has piled up in the yard, the client may incur an extra reinstatement fee of $25, alongside any outstanding balances.
